Me
I’m based out of a studio in east London and live on the edge of Epping Forest with my family.
My career
My journey as a photographer over the past 15 years has taken me from street portraiture, through photojournalism and on to working with some of the world’s most prominent brands. I also undertake portrait and documentary commissions for magazines.
The work
In my personal work I’m in interested in atmosphere, tension, ambiguity and creating a sense that things are never quite what they seem to be at first.
Having thought it about it far too much, I’ve come to the conclusion that my lighting style is rooted in trying to recreate the intense sun that was everywhere I looked as a child growing up in southern Spain. Not the blinding midday sun, but the light you get sat outside eating dinner at nine o’clock at night in the middle of summer.
