Mikael’s work draws upon his background as a photojournalist to help him find the most captivating and direct way to tell a story. His dramatic lighting style is influenced by his love of cinema and early experiences with photography whilst growing up in southern Spain.
His journey through the photographic industry over the past 12 years has taken him from street portraiture, through photojournalism and on to working with some of the world’s most prominent brands on advertising and PR campaigns. Mikael also undertakes portrait and documentary commissions for magazines.
He is based out of his studio in east London and lives on the edge of Epping Forest with his family.
